THE LEARNING JOURNEY
English lessons at Au Soleil Levant help children aged 5–12 build confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Nina offers in-person tutoring in Dubai and online lessons throughout the UAE. The starting point is your child: the words they already know, the situations that feel difficult and the goals you would like to work towards together.
Stories, conversation and role play create opportunities to listen and respond. Children can practise expressing opinions, asking questions and sharing an experience without the pressure to get everything right immediately.
Reading can move beyond recognising words to understanding what happens, why it matters and how to talk about it. Sounds, vocabulary and comprehension activities are chosen around the learner’s current needs.
From an early sentence to a more developed piece of writing, lessons can support vocabulary, sentence building and grammar. Schoolwork or assessment preparation can provide a practical focus.
PERSONAL TO YOUR CHILD
Some children are learning English as an additional language; others already use it at school and want more confidence in a particular skill. Tell Nina which situations matter most: speaking in class, following a text, organising writing or preparing for an assessment. The lesson focus can then be discussed around those needs.
Nina’s wider teaching experience also includes supporting university learners in St. Petersburg, where two students she taught passed their English university examinations. That experience sits alongside her work with children: each learner has a different goal, and each achievement deserves to be celebrated.
Choose in-person lessons in Dubai, with the meeting location agreed when booking, or online lessons across the UAE. Session times and fees are discussed directly with Nina.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Yes. Children new to English can start with familiar vocabulary, listening and simple conversation. Learners who already use English can focus on specific areas.
Yes. Reading comprehension, vocabulary, sentence building and writing can form part of the agreed lesson focus, alongside speaking and listening.
Assessment support can be discussed individually. Share the assessment requirements and current materials with Nina so that the scope is clear before booking.
